About Us
From Rap 4 Change to Ready 2 Change. Learn how one grassroots idea grew into an award-winning charity changing lives across Western Sydney.
Our Story – Where We Came From, and Why It Matters
At Ready 2 Change, our journey is deeply connected in resilience, purpose, and the firm belief that no young person is ever too far gone.
We began in 2015 as Rap 4 Change, a grassroots movement born from lived experience, heartache, and a dream to break the cycle for the next generation. We didn’t wait for the system to step in, we stepped up ourselves. In 2023, we evolved into Ready 2 Change, a name that speaks not only to our youth but to our communities, our systems, and ourselves.
It’s a name that says change is possible. And it starts now.
What started in a community centre quickly grew. More young people showed up. And they kept showing up – because someone finally showed up for them. They were mentored. Encouraged. Challenged. Seen.
Today, we’re a registered charity delivering school wellbeing programs, leadership initiatives, NDIS mentoring, community engagement, and more.

Our Mission
To engage, educate and empower youth to reach their full potential.
Our Vision
Our vision is to influence and positively impact the lives of young people right across Australia, encouraging them to make positive choices in all aspects of life.
Our Values – We’re G.R.E.A.T.
We don’t just run programs – we change lives. Behind every breakthrough moment, every step forward, and every second chance are the values we live by, the same values we teach every young person we support.
We believe every child, every teen, every young adult has the potential to be G.R.E.A.T.
No matter where they’ve come from or what they’ve been through.
Growth
Be the best you can be – one day at a time.
We empower young people to grow through every experience, always striving to be better than yesterday.
Resilience
Rise after the fall.
Life throws challenges, we help young people bounce back stronger, braver, and wiser.
Empathy
Walk with, not in front of.
We build real connections by listening, understanding, and showing up without judgment.
Authenticity
Be proud of your story.
We celebrate individuality and encourage every young person to own their truth and live it out loud.
Trust
Keep your word – even when no one’s watching.
Trust is the foundation of everything we do. We earn it, build it, and protect it with integrity.
Meet the Founder
Led by our founder Ned Narouz, whose own story is one of redemption, grit, and transformation, we’ve built more than just a charity, we’ve built a lifeline. Our team is made up of people who have walked the path, who understand the streets, the silence, the stigma and choose to walk beside our youth with love, consistency, and belief.

What We Do
Our mentoring support services are at the heart of what we do. These services offer personalised one-on-one support that focuses on emotional regulation, social skill building, personal development, and goal-setting.
Every mentoring relationship is built on trust, consistency, and understanding, helping each young person become the best version of themselves.

Our Work Is Far From Done
We’ve helped hundreds of young people reconnect with school, avoid reoffending, and find purpose – but we’re only getting started.
Every day, there are young people falling through the cracks. Youth battling addiction. Families on the brink. Children who just need one person to believe in them.
Your donation isn’t just money, it’s hope. It’s a mentor showing up at 6am. It’s a school visit that stops a fight. It’s respite for a mother or father who hasn’t had a full night’s sleep in weeks.
It’s a moment of connection that says: You matter. Your life matters.
In the Media
We’re proud to have our work featured by Channel 7, ABC News, The Guardian, and other media outlets that believe in the power of second chances.
